sponsors for our tournaments.
Gerhard Swanepoel assisted by
Meredith Jordan will drive this
initiative. It was also noted that
the regions need to secure their own
sponsors to ensure the success of
the tournament. Gerrie agreed to
share information about their
sponsors to help with the regions
hosting nationals with National
sponsorship. It was agreed that
sponsors are vitally essential. A
guide book on how to run a
successful tournament, including a
budget, needs to be designed.
Regions need to be transparent about
the money collected from a National
Tournament. It was agreed by all
that the region hosting a tournament
will give the National Committee a
full financial report after the
completion of the tournament. This
will include a balance sheet
containing Loss/Profit, costs and
sponsorships etc.
